Neapolitan Mastiff Aid

It is with great regret that we not currently able to rescue or rehome Neapolitan Mastiffs due to lack of resources.

If you have a Neapolitan Mastiff you need to rehome, please get in touch with one of the rehoming organisations on the Links page.

We will still try to assist with any other welfare issue, including posting details of Neapolitan Mastiffs in rescues here and providing help and advice to any owner or welfare organisation who cares for the breed.

We are still urgently appealing for people all over the UK with extensive experience of the breed to come forward and work with us to start up welfare branches.  Please see this page for more details:

We have had to have a recent regroup of the organisation due to the impossible task of dealing with so many dogs being dumped all over the UK and so few people to help:

Here is how we are now able to offer assistance to unwanted Mastini:

• We will provide advertising for any Neapolitan Mastiff or first crossing on our website free of charge to any rescue organisation, no matter where they are in the UK.
• We will try to provide as much support and assistance to Mastini in any rescue throughout the UK.  This includes possible financial assistance for essential healthcare and neutering, behaviour advice, home assessments, dog assessments, reference checks etc. Please contact us for more details.
  
• For this we will still need assistance with fundraising and help all over the UK to assist the rescue centres that will be taking on Mastini.

I shall be a believer of all that is good in man and of all that is deserving in animals.

I shall plead for their lives, campaign for their safety and uphold their right to a natural death.

I shall seek out the injured and the maimed, the unloved, and the abandoned and tend to them in their last days.

I shall not forget their place in the hierarchy of life, nor that we walk in each other's paths.

I shall bear witness to the wonder they bring into our lives and to the beauty they bestow upon our souls.

I shall renew their spirits when they are waning, bind their wounds when they bleed, cradle them when they whimper, and comfort them when they mourn.

I shall be near them in their hour of greatest need - a companion and friend when the time has come.

I shall watch over them and console them and ask that the angels gather them in their arms.

From the creatures of the earth I shall learn the fruits of compassion and undying love, and I shall be called the beloved of God.

In their company I shall indeed be blessed.
